Looking for a wonderful place to work? Cloud Nine day care homes are as warm and inviting to our staff as they are to the children. We are accepting applications for Infant/Toddler Care Providers and Facility Manager positions. As an Infant/Toddler Care Provider, professional childcare experience is always helpful and appreciated, but not a requirement. Experience with small children in some capacity is a must. Most importantly, you must truly enjoy interacting with the children and tending to their needs; this is their home away from home. Training commences immediately upon employment. Within 30 days you will have completed an on-site 54-page training checksheet, taking you step-by-step through every successful action that makes Cloud Nine unique and our service stellar. Also in those first 30 days you will need to be certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid and complete a class in recognizing and reporting child abuse. Within two months you will have completed a 40-hour Early Childhood Development home study course. And by that time you will have undoubtedly formed a special bond with each precious little one in your care! In addition to the basic requirements outlined above, as a Cloud Nine Facility Manager you must have at least one year of full-time experience working at a center, kindergarten or certified family child care home. You must be certified in Pediatric CPR and First Aid, have completed at least 60 hours of Early Childhood Development classes (directly related to infants and toddlers), have a Food Handler's Card, and must have completed the "Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse" course before being hired. Additional on-site training commences immediately upon employment. Cloud Nine staff are successful because they are organized, kind, patient, and passionate about what they do.
