Lauren's Story Dear Bell and Girls, It is with great sincerity and appreciation that Scott and I write this letter of recommendation for your Cloud Nine Infant/Toddler Home business. Any family considering outside care for their child would be fortunate to be a part of the Cloud Nine group. The thought of leaving one’s baby in the care of someone you really do not know well is a difficult thing for parents to do. We started looking for care for Lauren months before she was born, friends, community services, and even a professional service provided by my employer. With every name that I received I quickly was discouraged by what I found and thought there was no way I could go back to work if these were our options for daycare. Then we were referred to Cloud Nine by a friend of a friend. With the first call, I was immediately impressed. Scott and I lined up a meeting with Bell and brought our six week old baby along. What a relief it was to find such a warm group of people, a happy bunch of kids, and a clean structured environment. We were impressed by the answers to our full list of questions, and with their interaction with all the kids. Each of them took an interest in Lauren immediately. Scott and I just had a good feeling that this was a close family that loves children and they were good at caring for them. Right away, we agreed that this was the place for Lauren and we believe that even more as each day passes. After a little over a year of being at Cloud Nine, Lauren loves her days there. The hugs from Bell and Lacey, the laughs from Monet and the dancing and puppet shows with Savannah are just glimpses of the positive interaction we have seen. Beyond the providers, Lauren has developed a great group of pals that she looks forward to being with. We feel fortunate to have Lauren at Cloud Nine. Not only is Lauren happy at Cloud Nine, but she is also learning so many positive things. Cloud Nine provides an open environment for learning and re-enforcing social skills along with good manners, and contributes to all around happy kids! The food is nutritional, and the communication is outstanding. We receive daily and monthly re-caps on Lauren’s time at Cloud Nine, photos, newsletters and even invitations to Cloud Nine family gatherings. All of these extra efforts have been a great way for us to really feel like we are a part of Lauren’s life at Cloud Nine. Cloud Nine is the right place for Lauren and our family. I would highly recommend their care to any of my friends with great confidence that they too would be impressed by the safe, loving and stimulating environment provided. Scott, Lauren and myself have developed a strong bond with Bell, Lacey, Monet and Savannah. In fact, we are so impressed with their care that when I reduced my work schedule to part-time we have continued to bring Lauren to Cloud Nine part-time while paying for a full-time spot.
