Sarah's Story Dear Interested Parents, Our daughter has been with Bell, Lacey and family for almost nine months. We could not be happier with the care she receives. It makes going to work so much easier because we know that Sarah is in a wonderful, caring, safe environment while we are away at work. When we were looking for daycare, we looked most closely at daycare centers because of the structure they provided. We liked the idea of family home care because of the more personal touch but knew that good ones were hard to find. Fortunately, we found Cloud Nine. To us, Cloud Nine is the perfect combination of all the best elements of daily care for a child. Cloud Nine provides us: Information and Structure. At the end of each day, we know when Sarah ate, had a bottle, slept, needed a diaper change and why the diaper change was needed. We know her mood that day and how she interacted with everyone. We appreciate this structure. It helps us learn about Sarah’s habits when we are away from her. It is also something we did not think we would find in a family care setting. Stimulation. With toys, children, music, dancing, books and the Tupperware drawer in the kitchen, there is always something interesting to do. We also love the fact that the children are not limited to one room for play. They have the freedom to safely roam the entire first floor with a caregiver always close by. Nurturing. Bell’s family’s love and respect for each other is extended to all the children at Cloud Nine. We know that every day Sarah is here, she is very well loved and cared for. Sarah smiles when she arrives. This is a big part of what makes it so easy to leave her here. Number and age of the children. Cloud Nine is the perfect size. It has enough children for our daughter to watch, learn from and interact with. Yet it doesn’t have too many children; so we never worry about Sarah not getting the care and attention she needs. We also appreciate the fact that all the children are very close in age. It makes us feel good knowing that there are not older kids running around who require a different type of care than infants and toddlers do. The extras. From the parties that bring all the parents together, to the bi-monthly newsletter and photographs, monthly reports, and birthday celebrations; and with all the cooperative work to encourage our daughter’s development, there are many extras that continue to make us feel so fortunate that we found Cloud Nine. Bell is so organized and creative. We appreciate all she does so much. Cloud Nine provides us with everything we are looking for in a quality, loving day care for our child. We could not be happier.
