Joey's Story Dear Friend, It is with great pleasure we recommend Cloud Nine daycare program. Finding a daycare program is not an easy task when you are unable to stay home. We were overwhelmed with the many programs in the Portland area. We were lucky to have a friend who recommended Cloud Nine. We made an appointment with Bell to meet and discuss the possibility of Joey becoming part of her program. With our palms sweating and hearts racing, we met Bell. Immediately, she put our minds at ease and Joey seemed to fit right in. We were honestly surprised to find out how much she wanted to know about us, the parents, and Joey. It didn’t take long for us to decide that Cloud Nine was the right place for Joey and his nervous parents. Since November 2003, Joey has been attending full-time and has a great time playing with his friends. The care he receives at Cloud Nine exceeds all of our expectations. The girls are wonderful, loving, and truly care about him and all the little ones. The interaction between the children and the girls is amazing. They are always playing, singing, or dancing with the children. The facility is clean and inviting to the little ones. It is reassuring to know that Joey can play with the clean toys and crawl around without any worries of clutter or dangerous areas. We also love the monthly reports, pictures of Joey with his friends, and the daily re-cap at night when we pick him up. As an infant Joey has gone through some different stages that have presented challenges for us as parents, and for the girls. The girls have been troopers and have met the challenges with love and persistence. Luckily, most of his stages have been short lived.
